Why TITAN™ Tanks are the best
you can buy!

Woody Smith
Managing Partner
Growing up on the family farm near Idaho Falls, Idaho, as a young boy Woody Smith found himself fascinated with all things mechanical. Hanging around his family’s Chevy dealership, he also developed a great love for trucks. From these dual passions came Woody’s lifelong appreciation for performance, dependability, and utility.
When viable diesel pickups became available, Woody quickly began experimenting with such innovations as turbo-charging to get the most performance and economy from the vehicles.
An avid sportsman, Woody became frustrated with the small, factory-equipped fuel tank because whenever he hooked onto his horse trailer for a trip to the mountains, it seemed he spent as much time looking for fuel as he did driving to his destination. When he discovered his customers and friends felt the same, he went looking for a made-in-America, after-market fuel-tank solution.
Two years later, after scouring the country and coming up empty, Woody, with his typical spirit of innovation, decided to take matters in his own hands. The result was the creation of the virtually indestructible TITAN™ Extra-Large High-Density Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLHDPE) Fuel Tank, which extended the range of diesel pickups, doubled fuel capacity, and reduced fuel costs.
Ken Anderson
General Manager
At twelve years old, Ken Anderson was already driving the family’s F-250 truck on his father’s farm. Ken remembers that old F-250 as a real workhorse – feeding stock, carrying fencing supplies, and hauling lumber.
Ken is a passionate truck lover, thrilled to be helping folks get the most out of their investment. He knows that people out West depend on trucks for pleasure and business so they appreciate anything that makes their vehicles more practical, dependable, efficient, economical, and safe.
In 2007, Ken launched a major product improvement initiative that resulted in the introduction of the TITAN Generation V, or Gen 5 tanks, which make installation even easier. A “driveway mechanic” can install the lightweight tank (about 45 lbs. without hardware) by hand with a friend’s help in a couple of hours.
Ken’s technical background in design and manufacturing management ensures that TITAN’s customers receive both the finest and most-advanced products that money can buy as well as unparalleled customer service and support.
